Call T-Mobile to cancel. Cancellations usually take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and any remaining phone balance is due on your final bill if you close the account.
Steps
By phone
Call T-Mobile and ask to cancel your line or account.
Ask for the date your service will end and what your final bill will include.
When it ends
Cancellations are future-dated and usually take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you move your number to another carrier, you’re billed through the end of that cycle.
Good to know
Cancelling the whole account? Remaining device balances are due on your final bill. Cancelling one line but keeping others? Device payments on that line continue monthly.
Using AutoPay? Your final bill may still be charged to your saved payment method unless you remove AutoPay first.
Voicemail and DIGITS call history are deleted when you cancel, so save anything you need. Unpair any smartwatch from its phone line first.
Cancelling lines can end multi-line discounts, free-line promotions and device credits.
