How to cancel YouTube Premium in the US
Quick answerGo to youtube.com/paid_memberships, select Manage membership, then Deactivate and confirm. Your benefits last until the end of the billing period.
Steps
On a computer
- Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships.
- Select Manage membership.
- Select Deactivate.
- Select Continue to cancel.
- Choose a reason, select Next, then select Yes, cancel.
Billed by Apple or Google?
If you subscribed inside an iPhone or Android app, the app store bills you and you cancel there.
Billed by Apple (iPhone or iPad)
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Billed by Google Play (Android)
- Open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions on your phone.
- Select the subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
When it ends
Your membership benefits continue until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again.
