Go to Your Amazon Prime Membership, select Manage, then Update, Cancel and More, and follow the on-screen steps. This also stops a free trial turning into a paid membership.

On the website or app
Sign in to amazon.co.uk and open Your Amazon Prime Membership.
Select Manage.
Select Update, Cancel and More.
Follow the on-screen instructions to end your membership.
When it ends
Amazon’s UK page doesn’t say exactly when benefits stop. The on-screen steps show your end date before you confirm.
Good to know
Refunds: if you haven’t used any Prime benefits, you can get a full refund. If you have only used Prime delivery, you may get a partial refund. If you have used Prime Video, Prime Music or Prime Gaming, there is no refund.
Signed up in the Amazon Android shopping app? Cancel through Google Play subscriptions instead.
Prime for Students and 18–24: if you cancel during the six-month trial, you can’t get the trial again later.
