Open the Manage your plan page in your Spotify account and select Cancel subscription. Premium stays on until your next billing date, then your account moves to the free plan.
Steps
On the website
Sign in to your account on the Spotify website.
Go to Manage your plan.
Select Cancel subscription.
When it ends
Premium stays active until your next billing date. After that your account switches to free and keeps your playlists and saved music. If you cancel during a free trial, the account switches to free straight away.
Good to know
Family or Duo plan member? These steps only remove you from the plan. Only the plan manager can cancel it.
Plan manager? Cancelling ends Premium for everyone on the plan from the next payment date, so tell them first.
No Cancel subscription button? Your plan is billed by a partner such as a mobile or broadband provider. Check Payment on the Manage your plan page to see who.
Still being charged on a free account? The subscription may be on a different Spotify account. Log out and sign in with your other details.
