Online at americanexpress.com
Sign in to your online account.
Open your transactions and filter them to the dates you want.
Download them as a CSV file (Excel and PDF are also available).
For a billing statement instead, select it from the list of statements and download the PDF.
Which file to choose
American Express offers PDF, CSV, Excel, Quicken, QuickBooks. A CSV file is the most reliable choice, but a PDF works too: CancelCompass reads both.
How far back: Transactions from the past two years are available online. Older statements are archived as PDFs and may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Download at least three months so CancelCompass can see each subscription repeat.
Good to know
Downloads for Quicken and QuickBooks are offered too, but CancelCompass reads the CSV or PDF.
