How to cancel Amazon Prime in Canada

Steps
On the website or app
- Sign in to amazon.ca and open Manage Prime Membership.
- Check your renewal date.
- Paid membership: select End Membership. Free trial: select Do Not Continue.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
When it ends
This turns off automatic renewal. Prime renews every year unless you turn it off, and a free trial upgrades to a paid membership when it ends.
Good to know
- If you haven’t used any Prime benefits, you can get a full refund of the current period. It takes three to five business days.
- Signed up in the Amazon Android shopping app or Prime Video Android app? Cancel through Google Play subscriptions instead.
- Channels you added in Prime Video, such as Paramount+, stay active after Prime ends. Cancel them separately.
